A woman was preparing to do the dishes in her home outside of Bangkok when she felt a sharp pain in her thigh and looked down to see a giant python taking hold of her.
The woman was stuck screaming for help for two hours before a neighbor heard her and called police.
Officers were able to get the snake off by hitting it in the head with a crowbar.
The 64-year-old woman suffered several bites but was otherwise unharmed.

2 hours?????????? WTF!!!!!! Thank heavens she made it. She's strong. Bless her
I see women here in the US play with snakes recklessly or have pet snakes. Women can’t protect themselves at any cost, that shouldn’t be allowed
Animals changing habitat locations, probably due to cutting down forest for human expansions.
That poor woman! I so detest snakes, ugh!
Worst nightmare
Omg . . . How horrifying! 2 hours . . .😮
Just wondering… why does her age matter? If she’s only 25 does the story get cut?
I had 2 of my own but only around 5 feet. Mine never bit me. It must have been hungry ..
extremely lucky i think.. must have prevented the tail to anker, causing it to not constrict…
The cat pillows in the ambulance 😭
It WAITED? Sheeeit
Property owner demanding rent
Omg I would just fall over and be gone….
That's uncall for. They dont have to kill the beloved snake. Animals'lives are more precious. Haha
سبحان الله العظيم رحمة الله فوق كل شيء الشكر لله أن ساعد هذه المرأة
That’s wild!! Sheesh
🙏🏻🇹🇭❤️
Poor lady….
❤😢🌎
So happy you have a tale to tell the young ones.❤🙏
Imagine being stucked with a python during 2 hours ´ what a never ending nightmare
This woman got extremely lucky to have that thing constricting her for 2hrs & surviving. Sounds like a desperate snake
I think she could have used a butcher knife to kill it if she was in the kitchen?? I think she had at least one free arm. Glad she is ok!
Actually the snake wanted to talk to her about her cars warranty 😂
😱
My goodness I'm glad she's all right😢❤ bless her heart.. was this a snake that had in their house for a pet
Thats a old 64 😳
Cue all the animal lovers who will say its just doing whats natural and that people should stay out of their habitats….
She has 💩neighbors . 2 hours? WTF
Father God, thank you for saving this woman’s life. Thank you Papa.
Scary man. I hate wild animals
Lordy I 😭😭😭 she is not hurt I praise God
I'm so glad she's ok!!
Nope, nope, heck NO. Praise The Lord Jesus she survived.
✝️👰🏻♀️✝️
Bro I would've died. Ain't no way I'm sitting there with a snake for 2 hrs. I'm offing myself or the snake. Snakes are soooooo creepy
In Thailand and in rural areas, encountering a venomous or non-venomous snake is inevitable
This Python had a different idea.
Guess it wanted an hug.
So long, why stay so long?
🫢
Freaky ahh sneke💀💀
2 hours 😭 that poor woman!!
I don't understand why the python would attack her, but not kill her. Pythons kill by squeezing around the abdomen, making it hard for the prey to take in air. Every time the prey exhales, the python squeezes tighter restricting the prey's lungs even more, until the prey suffocates.
Every time this woman screamed, she expelled air. If the python wanted to kill her, all it had to do was squeeze tighter with each scream. She wouldn't have lasted more than several minutes. So, why did the python keep her alive for over 2 hours?
Any knowledgeable people have any theories?
I'm baffled.
I doubt she was worried if the snake was venomous. LOL Those ABC newscasters aren't all there.
Jesaaaassss! 😢😮
It’s interesting because reticulated pythons don’t usually attack people. Theoretically speaking it likely could have swallowed her, but the shoulders could have posed a problem. There are only like 6 reported cases of retics killing & eating humans, and only 2 have been substantiated. There was a woman in the US not too long ago who was keeping her snakes in a temperature controlled trailer belonging to a friend, where he also housed his reptiles…..she spent a lot of time there & developed a relationship with his retic. One day she took him out to let him stretch & he killed her. He didn’t eat her. That’s weird.
Even weirder is that constricters know what they’re doing. She survived for 2 hours because of where the snake bit her & constricted her. Around the neck & she would have been dead in minutes. And obviously with enough time & pressure around her midsection she could have died, but it’s super weird. It couldn’t have been using all of its strength. It sounds like the desperate behavior of a very hungry snake who tried to eat the first large mammal he saw, but didn’t have the energy to squeeze hard enough to kill her.
just shows how..non deadly animals are in this world…compared to the social human animal…
Omg, I’ll never wash dishes again.
😱
Python just roam like that in Thailand 😮
Well first off, lucky and awesome the lady was ok, but its just hilarious hearing that the snake waited for her to start the dishes. Wtf? How did the news come out with that info?
Clearly snake trying to avoid paying rent that month
