Barcelona have made it clear to Ansu Fati that he is not part of their plans this season, with the 21-year-old set to spend a second consecutive season on loan and few teams considering a permanent move. The injury-plagued forward is currently suffering from a foot injury that has sidelined him for several weeks.
According to Sport, four teams have expressed interest in signing Fati, but his high salary is an obstacle for both the suitors and Barcelona. Sevilla are the most interested in signing Fati, but they are only willing to pay around 30% of his salary this season. Meanwhile, Olympique de Marseille have inquired about terms, but were unsuccessful in their bid to sign Youssoufa Moukoko.

Benfica also appear to have missed out on Joao Felix and will be looking to give him a chance on the other coast of the Iberian peninsula, while Wolverhampton Wanderers are also a possibility, and given Mendes’ links with Wolverhampton a move could well happen.
Fati has previously turned down a move to Wolves, but it was not on loan but on a permanent basis as part of the Ruben Neves deal. Sevilla also tried to loan the young forward last summer, but he was persuaded to move to Brighton by manager Roberto de Zerbi, who is now Marseille manager and apparently still rates Fati highly despite not using him much. It is not yet clear which destination will be preferred.
