If you’ve ever wanted to take a drive around in a car that looks like it was doodled by a kindergartener eating crayons, we have great news for you: both Fortnite and Rocket League give you the opportunity to do just that.
Both Epic Games titles have confirmed that the Tesla Cybertruck is imminent, with Rocket League confirming its launch tomorrow (July 23rd) and Fortnite widely expected to follow suit with tomorrow’s v30.30 update.

Whether you plan to score goals or chase the zone, the Tesla Cybertruck is a great car for you to drive, but it definitely comes at a price, because Elon Musk doesn’t give away anything for free except for nasty opinions on social media.
No real vehicle is more suited to a video game than the Cybertruck. Even the name Cybertruck sounds like something out of a sci-fi RPG. The problem is that it looks more like a PS2 or original Xbox rendering than it does a current-gen console. But the Cybertruck should be an inspiring addition to your game. If you show up to a Rocket League match and see someone using a Cybertruck, that’s your cue to gear up and win.
Meanwhile, in Fortnite, the community proposes creating a kind of PvPvE environment where everyone gets in their cars at the start of the match and the player in the Cybertruck is eliminated by the rest of the players in the lobby before normal practice resumes.
I’m not going to sit here and write a list of 100 cars that should have been added to Fortnite and Rocket League before this monster arrived (though that would be easy), but if you’re interested, you can tune in tomorrow to see this monster appear in either game.
I can’t promise you won’t be criticized by me or other people in society, this will be the second worst thing you can buy after the X Premium Membership.
