Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season has officially begun.
Throughout the three weeks, almost nothing went as expected. QB2 is Jayden Daniels. Sam Darnold is QB4. JK Dobbins is RB1. Jauan Jennings is a WR1 (no, seriously). And three of the top six tight ends have games in which they scored less than one point.
To help you decide on the toughest lineups, here are our Week 4 fantasy football rankings. Switch between standard, half PPR (points per reception), and full PPR to see how players rank in league format.
Our team at USA TODAY Sports Network is also here to help with all your fantasy football needs. Looking for the latest player news? We got it. Want to know who had the best starts and sits this week? Week 4 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings
Stock up: Baker Mayfield finished as a top-five quarterback in two of three games this year. Jordan Love and Kirk Cousins had top-12 performances against the Eagles’ defense. Stock up: Caleb Williams faces a Rams defense that has allowed the third-most points to opposing quarterbacks. Keenan Allen is also expected to return to the lineup after missing two games with a heel injury, so he will be at full strength. Out of stock: Anthony Richardson has finished the last two games as QB21 and QB27. This week, he will face a Steelers team that is giving up the least fantasy points to opposing signal callers. Out of stock: Matthew Stafford will once again be without his best weapon against a Bears team that has held back CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson. He has scored a total of 21.4 fantasy points over the past two weeks.
Week 4 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings
Stock up: Tuba Hubbard finished as RB5 with 26 touches last week after the Panthers replaced Bryce Young with Andy Dalton at QB. It won’t be easy against the Bengals, but this kind of volume makes him a plug-and-play RB2. Stock: Zack Moss has a mouth-watering matchup for the Carolina Panthers. Before facing the Raiders’ non-existent run game, the Panthers were allowing Alvin Kamara and JK Dobbins to finish as top-six running backs against them. Moss has received at least 13 chances (carries + targets) in every game this season. Availability: JK Dobbins will face a Chiefs line that is holding Derrick Henry and Bijan Robinson to 10.6 and 12.2 half PPR points, respectively. You’re probably doing it without Both of his starting tackles.Stock Down: D’Andre Swift has been a RB37 with 18 touches and a RB38 with 15 touches over the past two games. Even though the fit is good, it would take some desperation to get Swift into the lineup.
Week 4 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings
STOCK UP: DeAndre Hopkins showed real intimacy with Will Revis last week. They should try to make that connection considering how vomit-inducing this offense was to start the season. Stock up: Jahan Dotson has three total catches this season, but he should be the Eagles’ de facto WR1. AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith are in the lineup. Dotson is a flex dart thrower with value in deeper leagues. Out of Stock: Michael Pittman Jr. finished as WR61, WR72, and WR53 through three weeks. Things won’t get any easier against a Steelers secondary that has allowed the sixth-fewest points to opposing wideouts. Stock Down: Xavier Worthy scored two touchdowns in Week 1, but has just 52 scoreless yards on eight targets in the two games since. A matchup against a strong Chargers team could lead to another lack of volume for the rookie.
Week 4 Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings
Stock up: Dallas Goedert set career highs in receptions (10) and yards (170) in Week 3 and should play a big role as the top option in the passing game in Week 4. Stock up: Speaking of his top options in the passing game, Brock Bowers will be without Davante Adams in the Raiders’ lineup against the Browns. It shouldn’t be difficult to reach double-digit goals in this match. Stock Down: Mark Andrews only ran four routes and had one target in Week 3. The Bills have given up the eighth-most points to that position, but he risks himself this week starting at your position.
