Jones, a bartender at KC’s Hooley House, where hundreds of restaurant workers were preparing for Monday night’s event on Thursday, said he needed an energy drink or two to get through his eight-hour Monday shift. He may need a cup, but he says he has been through everything so far. “Most people are really nice. Only a few have bad attitudes. I love interacting with all kinds of people.” Berkeley Newman, a liquor sales representative, said, He manages 105 accounts and is always on the go, especially before big game days. โIf you order on Monday, it will arrive on Friday. I love how Kansas City is doing so well. It means they keep my booze moving,โ Newman says. While the Chiefs game will take over the main screen on Power & Light’s KC Live, a separate screen will also broadcast the Royals game to ensure fans don’t miss a second.
