On Monday night, former President Donald Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview on X (formerly Twitter) with eccentric billionaire and Trump supporter Elon Musk, which turned out to be a bit of a debacle despite being a very friendly environment for the Republican candidate.
Shortly after it launched, there were major technical issues that led to delays of over 30 minutes. Of course, Musk blamed this on some sort of distributed denial of service attack, but the fact that other parts of the website seemed unaffected calls that claim into question.
During the interview, Trump raised many eyebrows when he sounded “slurred” and lisping, possibly due to audio compression.
Trump praised Musk for firing his employees, and the two ultra-rich and powerful men spent a great deal of time congratulating each other. And of course, Trump continued to lie about the criminality of immigrants and the cost of living crisis. Not exactly surprising behavior, but you can see for yourself if that’s how you want to spend your time.

The Internet Reacts
There was no DDOS attack, Elon Musk simply downgraded Twitter’s entire infrastructure to run on a paperclip.

Those who spent four years mocking Biden’s stuttering now seem a little more sensitive to Trump’s lisp.

Finally, an unbiased interview with Trump by a billionaire who voted for Trump and says the other candidate is a communist who will ruin America.

It’s a reminder that Elon Musk is not an engineer, Donald Trump is not a successful businessman, and Twitter is not a live-streaming interview app.

“But wasn’t the Trump-Musk interview disaster ultimately Biden’s fault, in some way? We asked two squirrels and a watermelon.”

Here are four of the most absurd ways in which Musk and Trump blame immigrants for crimes:
•Musk is an immigrant and is strongly suspected of violating election laws.
•Trump is a convicted felon
Immigrants have a lower crime rate than native-born U.S. citizens
Violent crime at an all-time low

Trump returning to his Twitter account, in my view, could mean one of two things:
1. Trump is so desperate and concerned about the health of his campaign that he felt the need to post it here again.
2. Musk requested that today’s interview be posted on Twitter.
Both are pathetic but equally viable.
