The Buccaneers have a chance to bounce back from last Sunday’s unforgivable loss, and a chance to prove that last season’s playoff victory over the Eagles was no fluke.
Even better, they can do both in front of old friends.
Tom Brady will appear on FOX Sports when the Bucks (2-1) take on the Eagles (2-1) in Tampa on Sunday afternoon, playing his first game at his old team since retiring after the 2022 season. I plan to. Of course, Brady spent the last three years of his illustrious career with the Bucs, leading them to a Super Bowl championship after the 2020 season. This is his record seventh title and the Bucks’ first in 18 years.
The Bucks, currently led by Baker Mayfield, have an incredible record of 9 wins and 8 losses against the Eagles in the first round of the playoffs last season, winning 32-9. The Bucks were 2-0 this year, but a strong start was ruined last week with a 26-7 loss to the Broncos.
They will face an Eagles team that picked up a tough 15-12 win over the Saints in New Orleans last Sunday, but stars wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith and right tackle Lane Johnson The team may be missing some key players. Everything is out.
It’s a big game between two teams looking to make it to the NFC Championship Game, and NFL legends will be watching from the broadcast booth. Follow all the action with top plays, big moments and insightful analysis from FOX Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano below.
