Dundee fans, let us know your thoughts after Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Hibernian.
Here are some of their comments.
Steve: Defensively, we have made some solid improvements since last season. I would still use Billy Koumetio as he has the makings of a top-class centre-back. We all love the reliable Jordan McGhee but he shouldn’t start at right-back ahead of Ethan Ingram and may be a blind spot for Tony Doherty.
Ian: It was a great game. Dundee were totally in control in the first 30 minutes. The second half was a back and forth affair but McGhee should have been left in central defence. A big mistake from the manager and he should have led the team to victory. They never gave up and got their just reward with the equaliser. It’s great to watch this team.
Andy: It was a great performance. We worked hard and put in effort until the end. I think we are still about three players short on the team. We need a few more. I’m excited to see what we can achieve this season.
Kenny: I always hope my team wins, but win, lose or draw, Dundee games are almost guaranteed to be fun to watch. I get the feeling that the players and supporters enjoy themselves.
Kevin: Dundee performed well and played a decent game, I think a point apiece was probably fair.
Carl: You could see how much we’ve improved under Doherty today, seeing how disappointed the supporters were at not winning. It was an entertaining game and big Simon Murray and Luke McCowan stood out, as did the fitness levels of the whole squad. Big Billy Koumetio looked a little raw on his debut but he will undoubtedly improve.
Gary: I feel like we need to dominate the other team to ensure we win because we can only rely on our starting 11. I think it shows we don’t have enough depth in the team. We have some injuries, but other than the two goalkeepers on the bench, we don’t have any “super subs” that can turn the game around.
