The United Nations will announce its annual appeal for the world’s major humanitarian crises later today. For another year, a record sum is expected to be requested to help millions of people inside Syria, as well as the millions who have fled to neighbouring countries. The BBC’s Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet is in Syria and sent this report on what daily life is like for people in a town called called Kisweh, on the outskirts of Damascus.

All I can say is that the wrong people are in power with politics I'm pretty sure if you take a homeless man and let him run the world it will be a different place a better one
These comments make me physically ill. Nobody deserves to die for wanting to live in harmony.

I just don't understand why they have so many children that they CAN'T afford. Have they ever heard of PULLING OUT? That worked for me and my Man for years….until I DECIDED to get Pregnant.
Nobody will help them this is cruel world
I have a learning disability & don't quite understand all this. I just wish all the nasty wars stopped all around the world wheather it's to do with religion or not.
Then unite and fix your country. Start making responsible choices, not having more children than you can feed is a good start. Stop relying on other countries to fix things for you.
Fuck assad
Eyes of these children ask me a me question that I can't answer. Makes me feel ashamed and low of myself. Ya Allah!
Bbc news feed all the kids dam. Do fucken something help these kids
Why would anyone in their right mind bear a child in the last 6 years? Why bring more babies in a war torn country? It doesn't make any sense.

2:03 Well really, what a stupid woman. She could clearly see that those people were busy moving water to save themselves and she just squeezes right in the way.
Why can't other Muslim populated countries like Saudia, Pakistan, indonesia , Oman and many others in North Africa help their fellow "Muslims" in Syria? Why should Europe be responsible for this ? I mean all the middle eastern Christians in Iraq and Syria have been persecuted and non of the muslims did anything to help ..why must Christians help muslims?
And we just have taps every corner
