MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) – The Black Lodge is saying goodbye to its multi-purpose event venue and dive bar in Memphis’ Crosstown District.
The store, once a film library and rental store, expanded to its current location on North Cleveland Street five years ago. The closure was announced Tuesday.
Since opening, the 8,000-square-foot community-oriented venue has hosted a variety of events, including music and concerts, theater and comedy performances, raves, and parties.
The Black Lodge is also home to the city’s last film library and video rental store.

Black Lodge will be closing its entertainment business but will continue to offer its video collection at the new location.
The location has not yet been announced.
