Chris Curtis won’t be healthy enough in time for UFC 307.
Curtis (31-11 MMA, 5-3 UFC), who was spotted cornering teammate Mansoor Abdul-Malik in a walking boot on Tuesday during Dana White’s Contender Series, made it official on Wednesday on X that he will not be fit in time for his bout against Kevin Holland (26-11 MMA, 13-8 UFC) due to a broken foot.
The middleweight bout was scheduled to take place as part of UFC 307, which takes place on Oct. 5 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
“I’m OK guys,” Curtis wrote. “I hit @BorralhoCaio’s knee at the end of our last round of sparring and broke my left leg a little. More to the point, I’m also nursing a Lisfranc injury, which means I won’t be able to walk without crutches for the next 4-5 weeks. This sucks, but if it had been any worse I might have needed surgery. So, best of luck to me. Hopefully I’ll be OK in December. If not, see you next year. Thanks for the comments and concern.”

It’s unclear whether Holland will remain on the card or be re-filed to face Curtis or someone else at a later date. Holland responded briefly on Instagram, saying, “Fuck Chris.”
Curtis had only just resumed full training after suffering a hamstring injury in a bout against Brendan Allen in April and losing by decision. His record in his last three bouts is 1 win, 1 loss and 1 no contest.
Holland most recently defeated Michal Oleksiejczuk by first-round submission in June, snapping a two-fight losing streak.
With the changes, the current UFC 307 lineup is as follows:
Movsar Evloev vs. Aljamain Sterling Jose Aldo vs. Mario Bautista Kayla Harrison vs. Ketlen Vieira Chris Curtis vs. TBA Carla Esparza vs. Tecia Pennington Iasmin Lucindo vs. Marina Rodriguez Cesar Almeida vs. Ihor Pothieria
