As the UAE celebrates Emirati Women’s Day, a day to honour and recognise women who have been integral to the country’s development, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards announced that Rekha, often referred to as the “Queen of Indian Cinema”, will be returning to the coveted stage this year.
The highly anticipated film screening will return for an unprecedented third edition from September 27-29 at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
Celebrated for her extraordinary talent and captivating on-screen personality, Rekha’s return to IIFA will pay tribute to one of the giants of cinema and highlight her immense impact and incredible achievements on the industry.
