Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft has completed its journey back to Earth – but the astronauts it was supposed to be carrying remain behind on the International Space Station.
The empty craft travelled in autonomous mode after undocking from station.
The capsule, which suffered technical problems after it launched with Nasa’s Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on board, was deemed too risky to take the astronauts home.
They will instead return in a SpaceX Crew Dragon, but not until February – extending an eight-day stay on the ISS to eight months.

Boeing builds junk
Succes ???????? American idiot!!!!!!!!!
Why didnโt they just come back
Am I the ONLY ONE that Thinks so? FAA is Lawfaring against Spacex . Instead they should shutdown incompetent Boeing.
This is something exactly out of kerbal space program
Boeing needs to all be in prison & be sued . !!!!
so they said it landed safely with a few hiccups but do you notice that they don't say if the astronauts would have survived if they had used that Boeing Starliner to go home in… to me there is more to the story Nasa is not saying…
Im calling it, its Boeing.
Pathetic
Itโs like the Mary Celeste all over again.
NASA's safety culture just caused Boeing's stock price to get even lower than before. Behind closed doors there's probably HIGH TENSIONS. Boeing was BEGGING NASA to put the crew on Starliner, which probably annoyed the hell out of NASA. NASA is trying to make it up to Boeing by praising them in these news conferences but at the end of the day they are saying "The safety of our Astronauts comes before your stock price. You knew how we operated before you took the contract. Nothing's changed."
Boeing can't even build aircraft properly. What chance do they stand in the space race. It's the poor astronauts I feel sorry for….
Crewless and clueless! ๐
NASA is a disgusting Marxist freak show and is a complete waste of taxpayer money.
NASA scammed by Boeing accountants.
The reason the shuttle landed safely was because there was no crew. If there was a crew it would not have landed safely.
They have sex there if they want?
Russians are there as well, the USA is nice to accept them in the iss!
Boeing is not what they used to be. Capitalism destroyed everything they stood for.
Ground team have greater authority than the two Commanders?

I can barely survive in my room 2 days i get completely boringly exhausted even with food, books and entertainment ,what for eight months in space
It will be mentally draining i can't fathom it๐โโ๏ธ
For me they are half dead for now.period.
They don't need Astraunots anymore ๐๐๐ this year is 2024 dude. Congratulations by the way for the landing๐๐๐
Hahaha. Full of success keywords all over. Everything perfect except astranouts which is the mission. Why still covering boeing ass???
Boeing's fault ๐
Safe and sound without astronauts???. That's some Bull…
They should have come in the boeing aircraft only โน๏ธ
I bet they have trouble understanding each other.
After it's lunch?
Boeing Industries pushed a huge DEI hiring policy choosing its employees by race to fill quota's instead of competence. Now their airplanes doors fall off in flight and they strand astronauts with capsules full of flaws.
Boeing is still doing it. Trying to distract US public from its failures by wrapping the flag around the landing, calling it a success, with cronies in NASA covering for the shoddy engineering with one hand and shovelling money to Boeing with the other. Things don't smell right when another organization can develop a superior product in a shorter time and spending considerably less money than Boeing.

This means astronaut's will never return to earth.
when the 2 finally return to earth in February a big payout $$$ awaits them from Boeing for the inconvenience caused and a further payout $$$ from them suing Boeing.! ๐
