Hundreds of police officers in France are hunting for an armed gang who ambushed a prison van on a busy road near Rouen in Normandy , shooting dead two prison guards and freeing a prisoner known as ‘The Fly”. At least 45 people have been killed in an Israeli air strike on a camp for displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, the Hamas-run health ministry says.
