Hungary will not take part in further Nato-led efforts to coordinate security assistance and training for Ukraine. The news was announced at a joint conference in Budapest between the Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán and the head of Nato Jens Stoltenberg. Israeli ground troops are reported to have advanced into the heart of the southern Gazan city of Rafah. Journalists and witnesses there say Israeli tanks have seized control of a key roundabout in the centre of the city. Traditionally, cities in the US have addressed rising sea levels by building sea walls made from concrete. “The quality of water can go down by 50% within one year of installation,” Anya said about using this material. The director of public prosecutions in England and Wales says he is “willing” to consider charging some rioters with terrorism offences. The UK government has been defeated in court – for a second time – for not doing enough to meet its targets for cutting greenhouse gas emissions. An interim government will be formed in Bangladesh after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country, the army chief has said. Hasina is reported to have flown to India as thousands of demonstrators advanced towards her official residence. The student protests began in July with calls to abolish civil service job quotas, but spiralled into demands for their PM to quit after 15 years in power.
