The Quran
Gurdjieff and Ouspensky might have served you better.
This clip single-handedly got me back into reading Kurt after like a 15+ year absence. Thanks Jon boy!
"Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein. If you want to understand the modern world, you need to know the things she's documented. And it's not really talked about anywhere else.
Its lovely to see Jon adapt between the scenes. They were some of trevors best bits.
As a 17 year old who's favourite author is Kurt Vonnegut, i wholeheartedly agree with this
Kurt is my favorite, too. I was introduced to him when I read "Cat's Cradle" as required reading in the 8th grade almost four decades ago, and it's still my favorite novel of all time. Kurt shaped who I am.
Jon is the best!
Kurt Vonnegut is the greatest!😃
The black guy was better. who's this clown?
Kurt Vonnegut is a great recommendation!
Totally agree with Vonnegut. The Sirens of Titan pulled me in to him permanently.
When America stopped being great – Nick Bryant
So it goes…
This is beautiful. Vonnegut is my favorite author. What a wonderful description. This makes me love Jon even more.
Quran, 100most influence books, 100most influence ppl, most influential muslims
I could literally listen to Jon talk all day long. Dude is a living legend.
All books of the major religions.
Just a couple of years ago read "Welcome To The Monkey House," a collection of early short stories written pre-"Cats Cradle." Brilliant start-to-finish and interesting for their "conventional" content—only the title story and one other can be considered as "sci-fi." Vonnegut was the 20th Century Mark Twain long before he expanded into alternative themes.
The power of accurate observertion is often called cynicism by those who don't have it… gbs
TIM WALZ for VP… He is the perfect pick and has the right priorities for the country and a track record of success getting things done with slim margins. He will actually help us win. A military background from a small town and comes off like a normal person when he speaks… and he destroys them every time he talks.
All Douglas Adams books.
I wonder who were some of Vonnegut’s favorite books/authors?
My grandfather got me this book when I was a kid and I would have to agree. How to win friends and influence people, by Dale Carnegie
