Setting new standards
Co-owned by GoPhoto and Ripley Entertainment, the new U.S. entity will be headquartered in Orlando, a renowned tourism and entertainment hub. The collaboration combines GoPhoto’s cutting edge photo sales technology with Ripley Entertainment’s global reputation for delivering exceptional experiences to audiences of all ages.
“We are excited to work with Ripley’s to bring a new evolution of photo retail to the leisure and themed entertainment industry. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of elevating guest experiences through cutting-edge technology,” said Daniel Duivestein, founder and CEO of GoPhoto.
Ripley Entertainment is known for a wide range of attractions, including the Believe It or Not! Odditorium, Ripley’s Aquarium and interactive touring shows. The company is excited to bring GoPhoto’s cutting edge technology to their venues. The partnership aims to create a new industry standard by providing guests with unparalleled photography experiences and keepsakes.
“We are pleased to support GoPhoto’s expansion into North America,” said Jim Pattison Jr., president of Ripley Entertainment, Inc. “We have successfully installed GoPhoto’s systems in attractions around the world and are confident that the company’s innovative approach will not only enhance our service, but also raise the overall standard of photo sales in the entertainment industry.”
Duivestein will relocate to Orlando to oversee operations in the U.S. and ensure the success of this venture. His leadership and extensive industry knowledge will be key to realizing the full potential of this collaboration.
Earlier this year, Kikila Pirika, general manager of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, spoke about Ripley’s recent partnership with GoPhoto for photography services and combo pricing at IAAPA Expo Asia 2024. “This allows our guests to spend their day at their own pace while still having fun,” Pirika said.
