AS Roma’s Tammy Abraham is likely to leave the club this summer and could return to the Premier League.
The Serie A club are the favourites to sign Artem Dovvic from Girona, but Abraham made a brief appearance for the Giallorossi in yesterday’s game against Cagliari.
Now it appears West Ham are interested, with Il Romanista journalist Simone Valdarchi speaking about it in an interview with MilanNews24, who claims that West Ham are prepared to pay €20 million for the striker.
Valdalchi said: “A number of Premier League teams have been linked with Abraham during the transfer window but nothing has been concrete. At the moment, West Ham appear to be the most interested and are prepared to make an offer of just over €20 million.”
“As for the player’s intentions, we believe he is attracted by the possibility of playing for Milan, even if the Premier League would mean a return to his homeland.”
This comes after we previously reported Il Romanista’s claims that West Ham are ready to offer a big sum for Abraham.
Valdarchi has said Abraham wants a move to Milan, but the club are yet to make an offer.
That being said, West Ham have signed a striker in Niklas Fürklug so it remains to be seen whether their interest has waned some.
