One of the strange things about the internet is that it gives us commoners a glimpse into the lives of the billionaires who run this country: Take Mark Zuckerberg, for example, who recently spent a ton of his “whatever” money to immortalize his wife in a sculpture.
Zach isn’t the only billionaire spending big bucks to revive the “Roman tradition”: just look at Elon Musk, who, like a spoiled Caligula with a glowing gamer keyboard, spent $44 billion to promote war purely for entertainment.
The Emperor of the Dying Bird App™ has actually been using his platform to move the Overton Window towards the inevitability of war for some time now.
For several UK-based lawyers, it’s enough now. In protest of his continued incitement, they have switched to Bluesky and other apps. From Legal Cheek:
[A] The lawyer, who goes by the name “Crime Girl” and has around 70,000 followers, announced that she would no longer be an “active participant” in X.
“Elon Musk has added fuel to the fire that has made my immigrant friends and colleagues fear for their lives,” she wrote. “They have been denied access to their offices and buildings have been set on fire with refugee families inside. This is an abomination in a free and peaceful democracy.”
Several other lawyers also decided to announce their resignations.
I am leaving Twitter and moving to another platform, at least for now, and probably forever. I just don’t enjoy being here anymore.

It’s been a great decade, but nothing lasts forever.
Thank you all for your friendship.

We wish the retiring lawyers the best of luck on their new platforms. Elon has a habit of throwing tantrums and filing lawsuits when people have the nerve to knock on his door rather than lick his boots. That being said, he may have more important issues to deal with. After all, there are calls for his arrest.
