Million Dollar Listing: UAE, the first international version of the hit reality TV series, will be available on the Roku Channel in the United States from Thursday.
Film and entertainment company Image Nation Abu Dhabi has acquired an exclusive license to the format from NBCUniversal Formats, a division of Universal International Studios, a unit of Comcast’s NBCUniversal’s Universal Studios Group, to produce a version set in the United Arab Emirates. The series will be available for streaming to approximately 83 million homes on Roku.
“The bilingual series follows a diverse group of real estate agents living in the UAE and also features cameos from Los Angeles legends Josh Altman and his brother Matt from Million Dollar Listing,” according to the show’s description. “Million Dollar Listing: UAE showcases the signature excitement of the original series combined with the unique charm and grandeur of the United Arab Emirates.”
The show will feature several key players, “including veteran real estate agent Ben Bhandari, who also serves as the show’s executive producer, newcomer Zay Brown, popular Nasira Sekai, showman Rami Wahoud and charismatic Riad Gohar,” the company said.
The series is sponsored by Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer Al Dar and Dubai-based luxury boutique developer Innovate Living.
“We are always looking for the highest quality entertainment with broad appeal to offer our audiences on our platform,” said David Eilenberg, head of content, Roku Media. “The first international edition of this hit series will entertain and entice viewers with an inside look at the glamorous and alluring luxury real estate market.”
