Kaley Cuoco is ready to get married again, just two years after publicly declaring she’d never marry.
Cuoco, star of “The Fight Attendant” and “The Big Bang Theory,” announced her engagement to boyfriend, “Mank” actor Tom Pelphrey, in a series of photos and videos shared to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday. Showing off a sparkling engagement ring on her finger in one Story, Cuoco reflected, “What a wild and beautiful journey life is.”
“Thank you @tommypelphrey for all the paths you’ve led me down,” she wrote. Cuoco also shared several black-and-white photos of her and Pelphrey’s little family, including a daughter named Matilda.
In 2022, Cuoco, 38, confirmed she was dating the “amazing” actor, 42, who has appeared in “Ozark” and “Banshee.” “To know you means to love you with all my heart,” Cuoco, owner of dog brand Oh Norman, wrote in an Instagram post celebrating Pelphrey’s birthday in July 2022. Months before making their relationship official on Instagram, the Emmy nominees were spotted together at producer Greg Berlanti’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. The pair also kept their romance on the red carpet, appearing at various entertainment events, including the 2022 Emmy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards in January 2023.
Cuoco announced she was expecting her first child with Pelphrey in October 2022, and they are set to welcome baby Matilda in March 2023. While celebrating Matilda’s birth, Cuoco posted on Instagram, “@tommypelphrey I never thought I’d love you more but I do.”
This marriage to Pelphrey marks the former “Big Bang Theory” cast member’s third. She was first married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting, but divorced less than two years later in September 2015. Cuoco then divorced Olympic equestrian Karl Cook in September 2021 after three years of marriage.
Just months after her recent divorce, Cuoco made another vow: “I will never get married again,” she said in Glamour magazine’s April 2022 cover story.
“Absolutely not. You could literally put it on the cover,” she said at the time, before clarifying that she’s not completely anti-love.
She added: “I’ve had great relationships, so I believe in love. I know that kind of relationship exists out there. I love being someone’s partner and being that kind of companion.”
