It was recently reported that English forward Danny Ings could be leaving West Ham this summer. With new signing Niklas Flukluk arriving as the Hammers’ new number nine, it is expected that West Ham could sell either Michail Antonio or Danny Ings this summer.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Premier League side Wolves are interested in signing prolific West Ham striker Michail Antonio. Antonio has made 302 appearances for the Hammers since joining in 2015, scoring 82 goals and providing 40 assists. Antonio was brilliant in West Ham’s UEFA Conference League title win in 2023, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
However, Antonio could be leaving West Ham after nine years at the London Stadium, with Wolves wanting an experienced striker in their squad and therefore interested in signing him for next season.
If Antonio leaves the Hammers this summer, West Ham will need to bring in a new centre-forward to replace him and recently the club has shown interest in signing former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham this summer.
Abraham won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea before joining Roma in 2021. The 26-year-old played brilliantly for Roma, scoring 27 goals in his first season with the club and helping them win the UEFA Conference League in 2022. Another forward that West Ham could sign is Sam Omorodion. Wolves have also expressed interest in Antonio and have not submitted a bid to West Ham for him.

Michail Antonio is 34 years old, but West Ham should keep him in the team as the second centre-forward behind Niklas Flukluk. It remains to be seen whether Wolves will make a first bid to sign Michail Antonio from West Ham in the transfer window.
