Discovery Education, a global education technology company, and Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation have announced a new phase of their existing partnership called STEM Connect.
Michael Savitz, international general manager at Discovery Education, said this will give educators in the UAE greater access to the resources they need to create “dynamic digital learning environments that nurture student curiosity, drive deep engagement and prepare learners for success in and outside the classroom.”
The program offers short lessons addressing real-world STEM challenges for students ages 13 to 18. Courses are offered in Arabic and English.
“STEM education is crucial in today’s rapidly changing world,” said Dr Sonia Ben Jaafar, CEO of the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation.
“By making these subjects engaging and accessible through hands-on learning activities, we foster academic excellence while empowering Emirati students to become the innovators and leaders who will shape a brighter future for the UAE.”
