UFC star Paddy Pimblett is interested in joining WWE, in part because the company offers “a big salary.”
When asked by DAZN if he had ever considered a move to WWE, Paddy “The Buddy” responded: “Yes, I’d say yes.
“Yes, to be honest, I have thought about it. I loved WWE as a kid. Shawn Michaels, The Heartbreak Kid, was my favorite fighter. I would love to beat someone in the UFC cage with Sweet Chin Music. D-Generation X, X-Pac was my favorite wrestler when I was younger.
“Yeah, I would. WWE pays a lot of money and you have to have character and personality and I have personality so I think it would work. So yeah, Triple H, if you want to sign me, just let me know and I’ll show up for the money.”
WWE and UFC have a close relationship as both companies are owned by Endeavor’s TKO Group Holdings. WWE and UFC have begun integrating their divisions since their merger was completed in September 2023, with WWE holding NXT Battleground at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Paddy Pimblett is signed with UFC since 2021 and previously fought for Cage Warriors. His MMA record is 22-3.
