Welcome to our rundown of the most viewed brand YouTube videos this week.
We’re publishing a portion of the larger Gospel Stats Weekly Brand Report to analyze sponsorship trends in the creator economy. All videos published in conjunction with official brand partners are eligible for the rankings.
And as the name above suggests, all of the data is pulled from Gospel Stats. If you want to learn more about Gospel and which brands are sponsoring which creators on YouTube, click here.

There are demons everywhere in this week’s Gospel Stats Weekly Brand Report, which means Sam and Colby are stuck in a haunted psychiatric hospital (not sure if there are demons there or not). But there’s also some workouts (ugh) and some really awesome “The Mask”-level makeup in the latest episode of “Kill Tony,” where Fake Trump and Fake Biden battle it out in a presidential debate that will never happen. Plus lawyer analysis of the Logan Paul vs. Coffeezilla lawsuit and a guy trying to make money on eBay.
Check out all the videos here:
#1 KT #672 โ Top Secret
Channel: Kill Tony
Brand: ExpressVPN
Views: 14,379,087
Now that Kamala Harris has officially declared her candidacy, we will (hopefully) never see another debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. But the latest episode of Kill Tony, a live-filmed comedy podcast hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban, offers a glimpse into what might have been. With Shane Gillis as Trump and Adam Ray as Biden, it’s an SNL-esque look at what would have happened if Biden had continued to run for president. It’s not all that surprising that this two-and-a-half-hour podcast made it to the top of this week’s list. Podcasts have been mainstream in recent weeks, especially in the sports space, and as more podcasters lean into video episodes, we expect episodes to keep coming out. And because podcasts are pretty heavily sponsored, we expect them to continue to show up on the list. Kill Tony is sponsored by ExpressVPN, which is also sponsoring 10 other videos this week.
#2 The most terrifying experience I had in a demonic asylum (I was locked up alone)
Channel: Sam and Colby
Brand: Rocket Money
Views: 5,174,239
Even if you miss your chance to see Sam and Colby in theaters (it’s part of a growing trend of creators bringing their work to Hollywood settings), you can still catch plenty of their cinematic shenanigans on their YouTube channel, including this video in which they visit Beechworth Psychiatric Hospital in Australia and do their best to bring out the demons that lurk there. As part of their exorcism, they put themselves in straitjackets and go through what a patient would endure. We won’t spoil what happens, but we think it’s safe to say that the title isn’t actually clickbait. Their encounter is sponsored by frequent creator collaborator Rocket Money, which paid for 24 videos this week.
#3 We Need to Rethink Exercise โ The Workout Paradox
Channel: Kurzgesagt โ In a nutshell
Brand: Brilliant
Nobody likes exercise. Of course, some do, but it’s unnatural, so it doesn’t count. What’s not unnatural is our bodies. According to Kurzgesagt โ In a Nutshell, our bodies fight us every step of the way as we try to lose weight. Like many other Kurzgesagt videos, this one is based on the laws of thermodynamics. Specifically, our bodies are big machines that try to turn raw materials (yummy food) into things we need to stay alive, like fat. So if you’re not satisfied with your exercise progress, it might be time to rethink your thinking and bring some physics into the mix. This deep dive is sponsored by Brilliant, a STEM education company that’s a regular brand partner of Kurzgesagt.
#4 Logan Paul Sued Coffeezilla and It’s Bad (According to Coffeezilla’s Lawyer)
Channel: LegalEagle
Brand: Factor
Views: 4,240,912
Oh, there’s a lawsuit going on. For more on what’s going on between the eldest of the Paul brothers and internet detective Coffeezilla, take a look here. To recap, Coffeezilla posted a few videos investigating what happened to Paul’s CryptoZoo crypto/NFT/gaming project, and Paul is suing him for defamation (despite having appreciated Coffeezilla’s comments in the past). As always, creator economy lawyer LegalEagle isn’t shy about commenting, deeming Paul’s lawsuit “shitty” and saying that by suing Coffeezilla, Paul has entered the era of the Streisand Effect. This video is even more interesting because it features guest appearances by Mark Bankston and Bill Ogden, who won the $50 million Sandy Hook lawsuit against Alex Jones. They are also Coffeezilla’s lawyers now. Good luck, Logan. (Oh, and this is sponsored by meal kit company Factor, which is also sponsoring about 50 other videos this week.)
Bonus #1,722 I lost my job so I started reselling stuff online: Month 5, Part 2
Channel: Analog Money Project
Brand: BetterHelp
Views: 30,237
We’ve been following Analog Money Project for a while now. It’s the story of one unemployed guy who decided to focus all his energy on reselling and YouTube after losing his job. For the last five months, he’s been walking his audience through the ups and downs of selling on eBay, showing us all the profitable resales, the unprofitable resales, and the just plain annoying resales (ever tried to sell off dozens of door locks?). He’s also been investigating whether uploading to YouTube is causing problems for his eBay store, as his sales have dropped significantly after he posted a new video. While his channel is still in its infancy, we think it’s great to see a creator who is actively upgrading his filming equipment and documenting this whole industry while trying to understand it from the ground up. His video was sponsored by the controversial BetterHelp, as were 44 other videos uploaded this week.
