A former Mr.Beast employee, who worked as Ava Tyson’s assistant, is claiming that she was “coerced” and sexually assaulted.
Allegations against Ava first surfaced on July 21, when she was accused of “training” a fan, LavaGS. As a result, the creator was removed from the Mr.Beast channel and Jimmy Donaldson himself announced that he would launch an independent investigation.
LavaGS initially defended Ava, then acknowledged that some of their interactions were “inappropriate,” but since then, more criticism has been leveled at the YouTuber.

On July 27, former MrBeast employee Jess, who goes by the online name “Mooskina,” took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her experience with Ava, claiming that she was sexually assaulted and “coerced” into doing so due to “power dynamics” at the time.
I was sexually assaulted by Eva Tyson. This is my story.
For context, Ava and I are adults and we met as adults.

Jess wrote that she first began interacting with Ava after she followed her on Twitter in 2022, and the two discussed hormone replacement therapy and the possibility of appearing in a Mr. Beast video. Their relationship reportedly quickly became sexual, with Ava dropping “love bombs” on Jess and making her feel like “the most important person in my life.”

According to Jess, this led to the two meeting in person and a one-sided sexual relationship that Ava “never reciprocated.” After learning that Ava “was not equipped to get someone to appear in her Mr. Beast videos,” Jess initially left, only to be called back as her assistant. The two began living together and reportedly resumed their sexual relationship.
“I had just moved in with Ava and quit my job to start working as her assistant. I really didn’t feel like I could say no without jeopardizing my job or being asked to quit,” Jess wrote, describing how she felt “forced” into doing so.

Despite sharing messages indicating an agreement to keep their relationship platonic, Jess claimed Ava “deferred to her” when it came to “what is and isn’t an appropriate relationship,” given the “power dynamic” between them.
Though the two were never officially partnered, Jess said she and Ava eventually became “very close emotionally” and began to believe they had “something special in the future.” But Ava got involved with someone else, and Jess decided to move out and subsequently lost her job.

Jess says she eventually spoke to HR and revealed the extent of her relationship with Ava, and discovered that Ava had “not been honest with HR,” which “led MrBeast to launch an independent investigation.”
At the time of writing, Jess says she has not received any updates since the investigation was promised. The allegations surrounding Ava’s involvement with LavaGS came to light just weeks after Jess left the company.
“I don’t want hush money or power,” Jess concluded. “I just want to move on with my life and close this chapter.”
