Many large technology stocks are beginning to recover from losing positions from last week as the market digests President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the presidential race. Biden’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris as his candidate raises questions about the likelihood of her economic policies and how they have changed since the last election in 2020. Additionally, the market may need to adjust for the possibility of a President Trump presidency, which seemed more likely than Biden. Could this reverse some of the so-called “Trump trade” we’ve seen in recent weeks?
