YouTube’s response
In response to the complaints, YouTube acknowledged the issue. The platform’s support team @TeamYouTube responded to the user saying: “Thank you for reporting it. We’re currently looking into it and will get back to you if we need any more information.” This response indicates that YouTube is aware of the issue and is actively working to resolve it.
A global issue
One X user elaborated further on the situation, saying, “For anyone wondering why Studio is down, it’s a global issue. I spoke to @TeamYouTube in chat and they said it’s a known issue and they’re working on a fix,” suggesting that the issue isn’t isolated to a specific region, but is affecting users around the world.
Downdetector Report
According to Downdetector, a website that monitors downtimes of online services, YouTube experienced multiple downtimes throughout the day. The website, maintained by Ookla, reported 136 downtimes at 15:10 IST and 107 downtimes at 16:25 IST. These frequent downtimes further highlighted the severity of the problem.
