Austin Harrouff is accused of brutally murdering John Stevens, 59, and Michelle Mishcon, 53, in their Florida home on Aug. 15.

In one photo, Harrouff appears to have something lodged in his teeth.
Photos also show a bloody knife, scissors, blood splatter inside the house, and blood-stained Nike sneakers found near the crime scene.
The shocking photo was released after court documents showed Harrouff spitting pieces of meat from his mouth during police questioning.
He then allegedly told them it was a “human being.”
Police allege Harrouff told them
“Help me, I ate something bad,” Harrouff allegedly told police before spitting out the piece of meat.
Prosecutors alleged that the defendant then demanded the officers “shoot me now, I deserve to die.”
When officers arrived on scene they found the suspect, dressed in his underwear, biting John Stevens in the face while making animal-like noises, police said.
A stun gun was used on Harrouff and he was eventually subdued with a police dog.

Police reports say the former college football player had been acting strangely prior to the attack.
The mother told police that Harrouff claimed to have psychic powers and believed there was a demon in the house.
According to a crime scene report cited by The Sun, blood stains were found throughout the driveway of the couple’s home, and both victims were found dead at the scene.

The court was told on Wednesday that no hallucinogens were found in Harrouff’s system.
The lawyer told the court his client suffers from mental illness and there is no evidence Harrouff was under the influence of bath salts or flakka on the night of the double murder.
Harrouff has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges.
If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
