Google Chrome users in the United Arab Emirates are urged to update their free web browser to the latest version after the tech giant recently released a security update to address vulnerabilities in the desktop version of the free web browser.
The UAE Cybersecurity Council on Friday advised Chrome users to update their devices to the latest version of Google’s browser.
If these vulnerabilities are ignored, hackers could gain access to your device and steal data or execute malicious code on your system.
The Security Council also encouraged users to disseminate this information to various organizations and partners.
On July 15, UAE companies were urged to keep their systems up to date, monitor for threats and protect their data amid increasing cyber threats.
It is noteworthy that in Q3 2023, 56% of businesses and companies will have suffered a data breach.
