Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri is expanding its entertainment experience for 2025, including a new drone show and redesigned areas.
“Night Sky” will debut next summer, starting with a new drone and fireworks spectacle. More than 100 drones dance and light up in the sky in a choreographed show.
Next summer, the theme park will also feature a Wild West-themed comedy stunt show and a Silver Dollar Circus acrobatic experience.
Before the summer events begin, Silver Dollar City will host a new festival in the spring. The event, called “Spring Exposition,” will include new experiences, performances, food and beverages.
The new area of Silver Dollar City is called The Plaza. Described as a hub of fun and entertainment, the two-acre Grand Expo is set to double in size in 2025.
The redesigned park space includes a permanent shade structure, additional seating, a new entertainment stage and food and beverage booths.
Returning to the park in 2025 is an “Old Time Christmas” experience that includes a new stage production titled “The Heart of Christmas.”
Silver Dollar City in the Ozarks is an 1880s-style park with 40 rides and attractions. It also hosts world-class festivals and events.
World-class festivals and events
Brad Thomas, president of Silver Dollar City Company, recently told blooloop: It changes depending on the season.
“For spring 2024, we have introduced new events that combine entertainment and food, which is an important part of the DNA of most festivals.”
Earlier this year, Silver Dollar City opened Fire in the Hole, the Midwest’s largest indoor family coaster.
Built by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), one of the world’s leading roller coaster manufacturers, the $30 million ride is Silver Dollar City’s largest investment in a single attraction to date.
