Week 5 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings
Stock up: Jordan Love finished as QB2 against the Vikings in Week 4 and should be a much easier test against the Rams. To date, Los Angeles has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. STOCK UP: Justin Fields was the only signal caller to outperform Love last week, totaling 367 yards and three scores (two on the ground). Fantasy points are 32 points. Dating back to last year, Fields has finished as a top-eight quarterback in half of his last 14 starts. He would fit in well with a Dallas team that has given up the ninth-most fantasy points and second-most rushing yards to the position. Stock Down: Trevor Lawrence has finished below QB16 in each of the first four weeks, and he has failed to finish above QB10 in 16 of the past 19 games. The Colts have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, but keep your expectations in check. Out of stock: Sam Darnold currently relies on an unsustainable 10.6% touchdown rate. The highest rate since 2020 was 6.9%. There’s a good chance he’ll come crashing down on the ground against a Jets defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to the passer since the start of last season.

Week 5 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings
Stock up: D’Andre Swift tore apart the Rams in Week 4 with a 165-yard, 1-touchdown performance. Since Week 1, he is currently averaging 18.7 touches. That kind of volume should work well against a Panthers team that just gave up 170 yards and three touchdowns to Chase Brown and Zack Moss. Stock: Alexander Mattison will finally lead the Raiders’ backfield. Zamir White listed as unavailable Due to a groin injury. Mattison has played well in a limited role and is currently in the top 15 among running backs in yards after contact both on the ground and through the air. He plays top 24 based on volume. Out of stock: Brian Robinson Jr. is scheduled to play Sunday after being listed as questionable with a knee injury, but he won’t have the same upside as the RB1 from last week. In half-PPR formats, Robinson has only finished above RB10 once in his past 17 games, but the return of Austin Ekeler has dampened his upward momentum. It doesn’t help that the Browns have given up the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing backfields. Stock Down: Zack Moss had just one more touch than Chase Brown in Week 4, and Baltimore’s split workload may not be enough to accomplish that. Through four weeks, the Ravens have held opposing Bucs to just 2.7 yards per carry, the best mark in the league.
Week 5 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings
Stock up: Amari Cooper got the wrong result on a phantom holding call last week and failed to finish as a top-five receiver for the second straight week. In Week 5, he will face Washington’s secondary, which has given up the most fantasy points to wideouts this season. Stock up: Dontaevion Wicks is the biggest beneficiary of Christian Watson’s injury, but Green Bay’s target narrows further with Romeo Dubs’ suspension. In Week 4 against Minnesota, Wicks was targeted a whopping 13 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns. A salivating matchup against the Rams awaits in Week 5. Stock Down: DJ Moore ranks 7th among receivers in targets, but his season high is WR31. His game script in Week 4 and the presence of Keenan Allen led to a season-low six targets, but his outlook doesn’t look much better this week against the Panthers. Out of stock: Jacobi Meyers turned 10 targets into five receptions last week. He gained 49 yards without a score and will next face Patrick Surtain II and the Broncos. He’s better left on the bench.
Week 5 Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings
Stock up: Travis Kelce is in prime position to reclaim his spot as an elite fantasy tight end with Larci Rice out of the lineup, and there’s a good chance he could be part of the overall TE1 discussion. The second-year receiver ranks second in the league with a 33.7% target share through Week 3. Stock up: Tucker Kraft should also benefit from narrowing down Green Bay’s target tree. With Watson and Dubs out of the lineup, Kraft is locked into a position with few top-10 options. Availability: In Week 4, Dalton Schultz took Tank Dell out of the lineup and finished as the TE18. The veteran tight end is probably drop-able in most leagues.
