The 2024 MLB postseason begins Saturday with the best-of-five Division Series. Three games out of the wild card round series ended 2-0, with the Tigers, Royals and Padres given two days off to finalize their lineups and rotations for the next round, while the Mets defeated the Brewers. It took three games to eliminate them.
Game 1 on Saturday will be between Cleveland and New York (AL) and Philadelphia and Los Angeles (NL). The second games of both National League division series will be played on Sunday, and the second games of both American League division series will be played on Monday.
