Zachary Levi, starring in two “Shazam!” movies. The superhero movie and television spy comedy “Chuck” has endorsed Donald Trump as a presidential candidate, calling him a potential “career suicide.” (See video below.)
“In a perfect world…I probably would have voted for Bobby,” the actor said, referring to the withdrawal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential bid. But Levi is now pinning his fortunes on the Republican candidate, he told an audience at President Trump’s Reclaim America tour in Dearborn, Michigan, on Saturday.
Before interviewing “Team Trump” members RFK Jr. and former Congressman Tulsi Gabbard, Levi made his own pitch for the former president.
“We’re here to take our country back,” Levi said. “We’re going to be great again. We’re going to be strong again. So I support Bobby, I support Tulsi, and I support everyone else who supports President Trump.”
“He will get us there because he has the backing, support, wisdom, knowledge and fight of Robert Kennedy Jr. and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.” continued the actor.

After her meeting with Gabbard and Kennedy, Levi said she received a positive response after announcing her support for the Republican candidate. “When I came out, I said I supported President Trump by supporting Tulsi and Bobby. … Within my industry, as you can probably imagine, Hollywood is a very, very liberal city. “Yes, and this could very well be career suicide, so I’m glad to be able to do that with you all,” he said.
Levi said he grew up in a conservative Christian family that instilled in him a healthy distrust of government. He said supporters of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris are not bad people, but they are being deceived.
Levi joins Dennis Quaid, Amber Rose and Joe Germanotta, the restaurateur father of Lady Gaga, among other celebrities to publicly support President Trump, who incited the coup. President Trump was convicted of 34 felonies in a hush money trial.
