hmmmm 2 allegedly persecuted minority men who have barely received any education, if at all, wrote lengthy letters in ENGLISH to the United Nations. If that's not a miracle, then it must be a scam. ๐
I think these so called "buddhists" have never read nor followed their own teachings:
"Hatred is never appeased by hatred in this world. By non-hatred alone is hatred appeased. This is a law eternal." (Dhp I – 5)
"One who, while himself seeking happiness, oppresses with violence other beings who also desire happiness, will not attain happiness hereafter." (Dhp X – 131)
"Overcome the angry by non-anger; overcome the wicked by goodness; overcome the miser by generosity; overcome the liar by truth." (Dhp XVII – 223)
"One should not strike a holy man, nor should a holy man, when struck, give way to anger. Shame on him who strikes a holy man, and more shame on him who gives way to anger."
"He who does no evil in deed, word and thought, who is restrained in these three ways โ him do I call a holy man."
"Not by matted hair, nor by lineage, nor by birth does one become a holy man. But he in whom truth and righteousness exist โ he is pure, he is a holy man."(Dhp XXVI – 389, 339, 391)
"He abused me, he struck me, he overpowered me, he robbed me." Those who harbor such thoughts do not still their hatred.
"He abused me, he struck me, he overpowered me, he robbed me." Those who do not harbor such thoughts still their hatred. (Dhp I – 3,4)
Embargo should be imposed on Burma and isolated.
Stupid news
where are those rich Muslims in central east
Whoever created this news story does not appear to understand the complex situation in Myanmar. Suu Kyi does not have any constitutional authority to stop the military operation. The military dictatorship still retains a lot of power, and speaking out against them will not only not do anything to fix the problem, but will jeopardize what little power the civilian government holds.

Why is Aung San Suu Kyi, the political leader of Myanmar, being โdethronedโ by the international media and denounced by people who once idolized her?
She has not publicly condemned the operations of the Myanmar military, known as the Tatmadaw, that prompted the flight of Rohingya to relative safety in Bangladesh. I will explain later why โDaw Suu,โ as she is referred at times by Burmese citizens, has not done this.
Why is the Tatmadaw conducting these operations?
A group of Muslims, described variously as โinsurgentsโ or โterrorists,โ launched fatal attacks on 30 police outposts in the area inhabited by the Rohingya (Rakhine State, one of 14 main administrative regions in the country) on August 25… Despite being the leader of the government, Daw Suu has no control over the Tatmadaw because the 2008 constitution created a system of military supremacy. If Daw Suu publicly condemns the Tatmadaw operations that have driven the Rohingya to Bangladesh, she will be condemning both the Tatmadaw and the voters who elected her party in 2015. As a result, her leadership position will probably become untenable.
Tragic. Why use sewage contaminated water when it's raining everywhere? So sad there is a basic lack of education. At least now they get more help than before.
Good news

Myanmar is beyond repair.. they have villages with 90 percent of its population addicted to heroin or yaba.. invested by chinese in collaboration with myanmar's different rebel groups this trade goes on years after years generations after generations ..this yaba reaches Bangladesh Dhaka even.. also to Australia yaba and ice..plus thailand becomes route victim .. myanmar government has almost no control .. and kills its own people.. they have more rebel groups than they have ethnicity .. if you want to consider any practical solution then the only way is by boots on ground, bombs on military bases, bombs on opium fields and yaba factories..demolishing Myanmar army and all rebels.. because one has to rebuild the country from scratch.. which these junkies will never be able to build.. if myanmar becomes a scenario like Afghanistan then within 12 years they will find their democracy.. complete take over of Mynamar by force and rebuilding it from scratch is only way..this will make the world a better place..a safer place with lot less yaba and heroin..myanmar is currently second most opium producing nation ..

The Rohingya are a group of Muslim (Muslim) people living in the Arakan region of Rakhine State in Myanmar. They live mainly in the areas of Maung Duo and Putidong towns near the Bangladesh border.
According to research, most of the Rohingya were Bangladeshis who entered Burma during the British rule, especially the descendants of the Bangladesh V detachment during World War II. The British army then formed a branch to block the Japanese army from advancing to India through the Arakan. "Bangladesh V Detachment" composed of Bangladeshis. However, after the British army withdrew into India, the V detachment's resistance to the Japanese army was minimal, but mass killings of Rakhine civilians in the Arakan region. The Myanmar government still calls it "Illegal Immigration from Bangladesh". According to the records of the British and Burmese, the V detachment burned hundreds of villages and slaughtered more than 100,000 Buddhists. In a border town alone, the V detachment killed more than 30,000 Unarmed civilians, ethnic cleansing called by Rakhine.
After Myanmar's independence, General Aung San and Prime Minister Wu Nu granted the Rohingya citizenship to Burma before the partition of India and Pakistan. More and more Rohingya people have become dominant ethnic groups in northern Rakhine State. After the partition of India and Pakistan, more Bengal refugees poured into Rakhine State, increasing the number of Rohingya. The Rohingya conflict in western Myanmar broke out in 1948, and the Rohingya began to claim to leave Myanmar and join East Pakistan (Bangladesh), their ancestral home. Their goal was to break away from Myanmar and eventually merge with East Pakistan, so they launched a jihad. In this jihad movement, many innocent Rakhine people were once again affected by the fighting and killed in their homes. After several rounds of siege by the government, this group of jihadist separatists finally surrendered. And Wu Naiwen, who succeeded Wu Nu, could no longer bear the Rohingya who demanded more and more. Wu Naiwen โs government believes that the Rohingya have been granted citizenship and political participation rights in Rohingya, but the Rohingya return in return for the armed separatist movement. Political rights.
