The Freeland Center for the Performing Arts, a 795-seat venue in Bristow, will celebrate its 15th anniversary on Friday with a special concert featuring the band Exile.
Since opening in 2009, the center has become a beloved hub for the community, hosting a variety of events throughout the year.

Over the years, the Freeland Center has hosted a variety of notable artists. Past performers include Tom Paxton, Asleep at the Wheel, David Phelps, Michael Martin Murphy and comedian Preacher Lawson. Tulsa Symphony Orchestra Bravo Brass and Tulsa Opera Principles also grace the stage, offering master classes and performing with students from local schools. The center’s community theater productions, including “Beauty and the Beast” and “Mary Poppins,” feature local talent and professionals, further enriching Bristow’s cultural landscape.
