Washington DC [US]UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, September 25 (ANI/WAM): UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting highlighted the continued development of UAE-US relations in the areas of economy, trade, investment and technology, which is in line with the two countries’ shared vision of achieving sustainable economic prosperity.
The discussion also touched on the importance of investing in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to ensure a more prosperous, growth-oriented and sustainable future for all.
The two sides reviewed UAE-based technology company MGX’s recently announced global partnership with several U.S. companies to invest in AI infrastructure, an effort that reflects the UAE’s development vision in which technology and AI play a central role.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Thanoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Thanoon Al Nahyan, Presidential Adviser for Special Affairs, Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Director-General for Administrative Affairs, UAE Ambassador to the US Yousef Al Otaiba, and several other senior officials.
