Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mal Bhati Vikramarka has said that US-based companies have shown keen interest to invest in Telangana.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who is leading an official delegation in the US to attract investments to the state, on Wednesday met senior US government officials including Additional Secretary for International Markets Arun Venkataraman and Senior Policy Advisor Olimar Rivera Noah and discussed various opportunities available in Telangana.
Bhati explained the importance of Hyderabad as an engine of growth for the Telangana economy and the need for strategic cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier, Bhatti met with Caterpillar executives at MINExpo in Las Vegas and toured the company’s latest products, including Cat Dynamic Energy Transfer (DET).
He also met with management from BKT Tire and the Wirtgen Group to review their latest products for the mining industry.
