“Murder on the Orient Express”
The drama group, located at 330 W. 202nd St. in Chicago Heights, will kick off its exciting 93rd season with Agatha Christie’s murder mystery thriller “Murder on the Orient Express.”
Performance dates are October 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th and 12th at 7:30pm, and Sunday matinees on October 6th and 13th at 2pm.
As the Orient Express travels through Europe, service is halted by snowdrifts blocking the tracks, and passengers are awakened by the news that one of its passengers, an American businessman, has been found stabbed to death in his bed behind the locked door of his carriage.
Detective Hercule Poirot begins interviewing suspects, establishing alibis and formulating a theory about a murderer who may be on the loose and close to his next victim.
As the plot thickens and the tourists become unsettled when they discover they are suspects, Poirot presents two plausible scenarios for who may have murdered the millionaire, taking the audience on a fascinating crime-solving journey.
