According to Bieber, his Purpose tour will be canceled in Argentina due to “legal conditions.”
“I would love to go if the situation changes, but at this time it’s not possible. I look forward to seeing everyone in South America,” the 22-year-old singer tweeted on Monday. “I absolutely love Argentina. In fact, it’s one of my favorite places on the tour. I don’t want this to happen. My lawyer says this is reality.”

Bieber added: “To all my Argentinian Believers, we would love to bring the #purposetour there, but we can’t until the local legal situation changes.”

Argentina, I love you. In fact, Argentina is one of my most favorite places to travel. I hope this is not true. My lawyer says this is the reality.

He then posted an apology GIF.
Last year, a judge in Argentina issued an arrest warrant for Bieber for allegedly assaulting a photographer in 2013. The Sorry singer was accused of sending a bodyguard outside a nightclub to attack the man. The arrest warrant was quashed, but the charges were not dropped, according to the Associated Press.
Also in 2013, Bieber angered some fans in Buenos Aires when he tried to remove an Argentine flag that had been thrown onto the stage using his foot and microphone stand. He later apologized for the incident.

A video was also released earlier this year showing Bieber throwing what appeared to be an Argentine flag out of a car window.
None of these alleged instances were mentioned in his recent tweets.
News that Bieber will not be performing in Argentina comes after the singer was spotted behaving strangely in Boston, Massachusetts. While in the New England city, he was spotted walking around barefoot, listening to music in a tree, and ordering $2,400 worth of shots at a nightclub.
He also announced that he would no longer pose for photos with the Believers because he felt like a “zoo animal.”
