Two topless women were dragged out of a polling station in New York where Donald Trump had cast his vote and yelled obscenities, referring to the Republican candidate’s “genital grabbing” comments.
The two women arrived at the polling station just after 8:15am local time and ripped their shirts to reveal the messages they had written on their chests.
Within a minute they were caught by police and dragged away.

One of the women had the words “Trump, grab your balls” written in black paint on her chest and stomach.
Another said: “I will take hate out of my polls.”

Both women had “Femen USA” written on their arms as a tribute to the feminist activist group.
According to TIME, the NYPD confirmed that two women have been detained and are facing charges.

The protests broke out hours before Trump was scheduled to cast his vote at the same polling place on 59th Street in Manhattan.
One of the women tried to climb onto a table, and security personnel rushed to remove them from the hall.

The women, believed to be in their mid-20s, are believed to be part of a feminist group that describes their mission as “protest” and their weapon as “bare breasts”.

Since 1992, it has been illegal for women to bare their breasts in public for non-profit activities in New York.
Election workers are not permitted to wear election paraphernalia or hold up placards at polling stations with the intent of influencing voters.
