A small, twin-engine plane crashed into a residential neighborhood in Fairview, Oregon, on Saturday, authorities said.
The plane crashed near Troutdale Airport in Oregon, hitting a power pole or tower, which caused a brush fire. The aircraft then crashed into a building of connected townhomes, igniting a fire in that structure, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
Video shows fire crews responding to the row of homes that caught fire.
While the extent of injuries and fatalities is unknown, the area has been evacuated, and residents are receiving support.

Condolences to the victims and family. 🙏♥️
This hit about 1000 feet away from my home. I will never forget the slund of the engine backfiring , then sputtering and then the plane hit down .and immediately after something else hit. It scared me so bad and my heart goes out to all those who lost a loved one from this crash . They are still working on the power lines and road is still blovked today on Sandy blvd . Honestly today I noticed sounds of smaller planes overhead and each one made me nervous until they fully passed on to their destination. I think a lot of my neighbors are going through the same .
Aviation fuel burns super hot and is hela hard to put out.😮
Esperemos que no haya víctimas en éste desastre …
Desde la CDMX 💯🇲🇽💖
In big cities firefighting is a profession, they go right to it untill its over and then a bit more.
NO ONE IS GOING SLOW UNTIL THE FIRE IS OUT.
For many years my unbased fear was being in my house when a plane crashes into it.
At age 69, it really doesn't matter. Lol.
Praying for all families and all who are injured in this accident
Oh, I saw film of some of that vicious fire and wondered how on earth it started.
Sad
The passenger in this plane was my nana Jackie Whitford. She was an amazing pilot and loved flying.
The pilot was a friend of hers and they have been trying for a long time to finally get this plane in check.
Unfortunately there was a mechanical issue. Please send me and my family love. Thank you
Music makes me wana play Turok again
Oh no! My heart goes out to these people
Blessings to the families that were effected by this crash. Peace and calm.😮❤

Three people are dead after a small plane crashed into a row of townhouses in the US state of Oregon on Saturday.
The plane, a twin-engine Cessna, was carrying two people on board, local authorities said. Both of them were killed, along with a resident of one of the homes the plane crashed into.
Multiple units were set ablaze as a result of the crash, displacing a number of families and injuring others, authorities said.
The crash happened in Fairview, around 11 miles (17 kilometres) east of Portland, near the Troutdale Airport.
❤️❤️🙏
I’m not kidding I live in Wood Village OR, it’s a couple of minutes away from the crash site
The video says ‘plane crashed into a neighborhood’ but the music says ‘try Sleepiest today’.
CRUEL REALTY 😢😢😢😢i curse god non stop .
Why are the firefighters not at the back of the house putting the flames out?
It was Air Force 1
Man, many blessings, love and lite to all affected by this tragedy!
I've been uprooted from someone else causing a fire. It is a very stressful time, dealing with something you didn't start, but it destroyed your living accomodations. So sorry for everyone in the townhouses.
Tragic all around. My condolences to the families.
Show the firemen fighting the fire, not the ones that are lost
3 people are deceased at this time. 2 pilots and 1 person in townhouse
I'm sorry for all your losses of property there in Fairview, Oregon. There is a problem in Wellington, New Zealand, where I'm living, where older and new housing developments burn out if one catches fire and it spreads to the next and the next.
I hope you all get some sort of compensation for loss of personal items.
Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath – Matthew 24:20
🙏🕊️ for all involved!
Pay attention, it has happened more airplane's accidents in these last months, all around the world… I keep thinking why it happens, what's the reason behind it, and a question rises up in my mind that is about the climate changes, that could probably be affecting in some way's, the airplanes structures and control. Or it's all humans planes managers failing in their controls and analysis/administrations in the airplanes anyway.
Fogo
Is Donnie Darko OK?
What in the world is going on with this music
No plane visible, no details given in the video, and overlaid with stupid music. This from ABC News? How far we’ve fallen.
I know that residential area. Friends live near it. So tragic.
They showed you in Okama s movie 😮
Lame fire fighters
As a pilot, it is your Responsibility, Dedication, life.
If all else is failing, all attempts should be to not hit people on the ground.
Many times its unavoidable.
But there are/have been some stories.
R.I.P.
😢😢😢
Somehow it's Donald Trump fault that the plane crashed bc everything that has happened in world is his fault the way news media and democrats think now days
