The Nature Track Film Festival (NTFF) has announced its full festival program, including film lineup and special events, which will take place Oct. 11-13 at the Camino Real Marketplace and Camino Real Cinema in Goleta.
This year’s festival will screen more than 80 films over three days. With seven world premieres, six North American premieres and four U.S. premieres throughout the weekend, the festival will feature an incredible full lineup of more than 80 inspiring short and feature films with a mission to ignite a passion for nature through film.
All tickets are on sale now. Tickets for the Opening Night Extravaganza are $65 each and will allow Opening Night guests to enjoy an evening of fun that will set the tone for the unique and exciting festival weekend ahead.
Opening night will feature the Central Coast premiere of “Jane Goodall – Reason for Hope” and two world premiere short films, “Open Space” and “Otter Space”, followed by an official opening night reception with light refreshments and an open bar.

The Intro Pack ($140) includes a four-pack of the film block of your choice, plus two tickets to all films on opening night and the reception. For festival aficionados, an All-Access VIP Pass, which includes a swag bag, priority access to all screenings and admission to the VIP Lounge, is available for $200 or $375 for two. Individual film block tickets are available from just $15.
With the festival moving to the Camino Real Marketplace this year, the NTFF team will open the official festival hub in the former Pier One space at Camino Real Marketplace on Friday, October 11th at 10am and will remain open throughout the duration of the festival.
The Festival Hub will be the place where all festival-goers can pick up their passes, purchase tickets, attend filmmaker panels, enjoy opening and special event receptions, have drinks with filmmakers, and enjoy the art gallery featuring local artists.
“Securing 10,000 sq ft of hub space has been a real game changer for us this year,” said Managing Director Gareth Kelly. “Having a base of operations just a stone’s throw from the cinema will enable us to deliver a world-class festival experience for filmmakers and the local community alike. We can’t wait to welcome everyone!”
Other notable highlights of this year’s festival, which nearly doubled in size from last year, include the world premiere of the new PBS documentary “Animal Pride.” World premiere of “RESCUE” — A heartwarming short documentary about elephants and women’s empowerment. And “Tagliatémio — King of the Alpine Rivers” — A beautiful documentary by Austrian national broadcaster ORF about Europe’s last wild river, which will close the festival on Sunday 13th October.
Also new this year, the festival will host a special film screening prior to opening night for 600 fifth grade students from Goleta schools on the morning of Friday, October 11. This special event is made possible by the NatureTrack Foundation and its founder, Sue Eyzaguirre.
“At Nature Track, we are passionate about inspiring children to feel a connection to the natural world,” said Eizaguirre. “By giving all Goleta fifth graders the opportunity to experience these films on the big screen at the Nature Track Film Festival, we are able to deepen their understanding of nature, spark their curiosity, and inspire a lasting love of the outdoors.”
With multiple world premieres, over 80 film screenings across three days, intriguing filmmaker panels, filmmakers from around the world and a dedicated festival hub, the 6th Nature Track Film Festival promises to be its biggest and best yet.
