Southampton have lost four of their first four Premier League games but recent performances have been encouraging, including an excellent performance against Everton when they came from 1-0 down to equalise and win 6-5 on penalties, and against Manchester United, Russell Martin’s side performed well in the first half hour but conceded two goals before the break to lose 3-0.
While their defence certainly needs improvement, Southampton have a fantastic attacking talent in Tyler Dibling. The 18-year-old has shown great athleticism and dribbling ability down the right wing, providing a constant source of creativity for a Southampton front three that has struggled to score this season. His performances have been notable, with Southampton fans and several Premier League analysts praising the young forward’s play in his first Premier League start.
Meanwhile, several top Premier League clubs have praised his performances for Southampton and are keen to sign the creative playmaker to add quality and depth to their squad. GIVEMESPORT report that Manchester United are interested in signing Dibling and could open transfer talks with Southampton either in the January transfer window or at the end of the season.
“Saints will be hoping to persuade Dibling to sign a new contract on the south coast after his strong start to the season, but United may try to change his mind.”

Dibling is in great form at the moment and if he can maintain this form towards the end of the season, multiple clubs will be interested in him. However, Dibling should remain at St. Mary’s Stadium for a few years to continue his development as a world-class Premier League star, as it will be difficult for him to get regular playing time with the first team if he joins a new team in the next transfer window. Also, Dibling has shown great potential to be one of the best forwards in the coming years, so Southampton should keep him at the club for many years to come.
