Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m “allowed” to blog about anyone involved in this. At this point, I think Kanye is okay. I was on the fence with him for a while when he was saying “the Holocaust was really peaceful.” But now that he’s heavily addicted to nitrous oxide and has lost half his brain and the other half is under the spell of a muscle-bound celebrity dentist, my editors seem to be letting me have it.
Zach Bryan is dating Barstool Sports employee Briana “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. She’s at least 1,000 times more important to Barstool than I am. I think this is why no one’s blogged about this yet. To be honest, a Zach Bryan + Taylor Swift + Kanye West blog is like a blog made in a Barstool Sports lab. But I’m on Zach’s side here, so I guess it’s okay.
Speaking of Taylor Swift… I still haven’t given permission to Kelly or Gia for this blog. After seeing Dante recently tweet something he thought Dua Lipa hadn’t meant any harm in criticizing Taylor Swift, and then being threatened by Kelly Keegs into making a public apology within an hour…
I’m not just here to put up a smokescreen. I’m here for peace, guys. I’m going to contact all involved quickly and get out of here.
Zach Bryan – Congrats on deleting Twitter. Deleting social media is the healthiest decision one can make. But there’s nothing wrong with tweeting “Kanye > Taylor”. Musically, I agree. Certainly not as a person. Kanye is a much better musical artist than he is as a person. Same goes for Taylor, she ranks in the top 0.000001% of all time musical artists. She’d have to be Mother Teresa to be a better person than an artist. But I digress.
I probably wouldn’t tweet that now, because the internet obviously makes it a political issue. And honestly, my initial reaction was to say, “Hey, don’t get kicked off the internet for tweeting something so innocuous. That’s selfish.” But then you think about it, you’re a country music superstar worth millions of dollars. If I tweeted a completely innocuous opinion and got a flood of responses like this…
I’m probably thinking, “Wait a minute. What am I doing? I don’t need any of this. I’m a billionaire. See you, X.”
However, it could also be said that the repeated apologies seemed a bit excessive.

People will think he threatened the cops or something. He should apologize for his Eagles > Chiefs opinion. Objectively it’s wrong. You’re free to have an opinion on music. But realistically, an apology would have been wise. You drunk tweet something, you regret it… You apologize a few times… You delete Twitter… You put the incident out of your mind… Everyone forgets about it in a week or two. And eventually, like almost everything on the internet, it becomes completely unimportant.
Taylor Swift – you really have nothing to do with this. My fiancé says hi.
Swifties – I know 99.99% of you guys aren’t attacking Zach Bryan on the internet, but if you are attacking Zach Bryan on the internet…honestly, I don’t give a damn. Just be yourself.
Kanye – Hello Kanye, hope you are having a good day with your head, hello to Kanye’s PR team who are reading every article about Kanye posted on the internet, best of luck with Diddy.

In conclusion, I personally think it’s okay to enjoy both Taylor Swift and Kanye’s music. I’m getting married next year and there will be one Taylor Swift song and one Kanye song playing at key moments of the night. Somehow we’ve defied expectations, ignored the celebrity feuds between our favorite musicians, and learned to love each other despite our differences. I know that’s really crazy, but it almost makes sense.
