BUDAPEST, Hungary (CelebrityAccess) — DJ and producer Martin Garrix has released the complete live recording of his recent performance at the 2024 edition of Sziget Festival on video-on-demand streaming platform YouTube.
Filmed from various locations around the festival, including an aerial drone captures the entire performance, including the enthusiastic crowd’s reaction.
During the concert, Garrix debuted new music, including his latest single “Smile,” as well as 12 previously unreleased tracks.
The video also shows the performance being halted briefly and the stage going dark due to an electrical issue – thankfully the microphone still worked, and while production frantically worked to resolve the problem, Garrix got the crowd fired up, leading them into an impromptu sing-along to The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.”
In addition to Garrix’s headlining performance, Garrix’s label STMPD RCRDS hosted one of the biggest stages at Sziget throughout the night.
He also played a second surprise set, performing back-to-back with DubVision, before being joined onstage by long-time collaborators like Mesto, Blinders and Justin Mylo, as well as some of the label’s emerging talent, including Eleganto, Andrew Mathers, Merrow, Moksi and NUZB.
