Adam Sandler’s two teenage daughters are getting a major warning from the legendary Hollywood star they call dad.
On Tuesday, the actor’s “Adam Sandler: Love You” premiered on Netflix, and Sandler advised his 18-year-old Sadie and 15-year-old Sonny not to watch the special because of its foul language.
“I swear a lot,” he told E! News at the premiere of his comedy special. “I apologize to a lot of people out there, especially my family, who don’t need to know those words exist.”
“They can see some of it. I’m in no big rush to show it to them. In fact, they’re not coming tonight. They’ll see me at the party afterwards. But I said, ‘You don’t need to see this.’

The “Murder Mystery” star also offered some fatherly advice to his daughters regarding their acting careers.
In 2023, Sandler spoke to People magazine about his daughters’ voice roles in his animated film Leo. At the time, the comedian revealed the words of wisdom he imparted to his daughters.
“I tell them to be happy with what they’re doing and how hard they’ve worked and to value themselves,” Sandler told the outlet. “Don’t let too many people dictate what you think. If you feel like you’ve given it your all, that’s all you should ask for.”
Sandler’s wife of over 20 years, Jackie, also stars in the animated film.
“[It’s] “It’s always fun to be with family,” he explained. “We have similar interests and passions, so it’s good to learn together.”

There’s a chance the Sandler family could star in another film together.
“You never know what’s going to happen, but I had a great time with the Bat Mitzvah movie. And this movie, we started making it four years ago, so they’ve grown up a bit while we were making this movie. So, it’s been really good,” he told the media.

In August 2023, the Sandlers starred in Netflix’s “You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah” shortly before their youngest daughter’s actual bat mitzvah, the film’s director, Sami Cohen, told People magazine at the time.

“What’s really funny is that Sonny actually had his bat mitzvah right before we started prepping the movie,” Cohen said. “So I went to the ceremony, performed the actual bat mitzvah, and then we headed in to shoot the movie. It was a really fun Lifetime movie moment.”
