Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), a Carlsbad, California-based program management company specializing in a wide variety of insurance products, has announced the appointment of Ashley Gonzalez (pictured above) as vice president of entertainment.
Gonzalez will play a key role in expanding ISC’s Abacus distribution, strengthening existing broker relationships and identifying new program opportunities that align with the company’s core competencies.
In 2021, ISC acquired Abacus, a general agency specializing in entertainment and event insurance.
Gonzalez brings a diverse background in underwriting and business development, as well as deep knowledge of the entertainment market, to her new role at ISC. She began her career at Allstate, supporting territory management and developing new agents, before moving to Philadelphia Insurance Company in an underwriting role.
She began her career at Chubb, where she broadened her expertise to include multinational products, excess and umbrella insurance, and high net worth personal lines, before joining CNA, where she focused on medical related and malpractice programs.
In 2017, Gonzalez moved to Los Angeles to join Hiscox, working on the entertainment and media team, and during the pandemic she has grown the team significantly whilst supporting various aspects of the entertainment business division.
Her achievements at Hiscox saw her promoted to business development lead, overseeing national sales initiatives for all lines of business, including both digital and traditional retail.
ISC founder and CEO Matt Grossberg said Gonzalez’s extensive experience will help accelerate growth, expand broker partnerships and strengthen ISC’s position in the entertainment insurance sector.
