YouTube has introduced a digital assistant based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help users recover accounts that have been targeted by hackers.
The Google support page describes this as a troubleshooting tool.
The chatbot will be accessible through the YouTube Help Center and will be able to ask the owner of the hacked account a range of questions and help them reverse the changes made to their YouTube channel.
This AI assistant is currently only available in English and only a limited number of users have access to it.
However, Google said the feature will be gradually rolled out to all YouTube users.
Once your YouTube account is hacked, it is nearly impossible to recover it and it will take a long time to recover.
But this AI chatbot doesn’t just help you recover your account, it also provides added security.
It should be noted that Google has been adding many features based on AI technology to YouTube in recent months.
An AI feature called SoundSearch allows users to find songs just by humming.
Similarly, YouTube is also developing other AI chatbots that can be used for various tasks.
