As we enter the final week of the transfer window, Real Madrid are not expected to make many transactions.
Despite the club’s thin defensive depth, they seem to have things mostly worked out well in terms of squad composition.
However, while Real Madrid may not be keen to sign any new players on the market, the club continues to receive offers for its star player.
Bayern Munich interested in Aurélien Choameni
One such example is that the club has received an enquiry from Bayern Munich over the signing of Aurélien Chouamenie, as reported by Defensa Central.
The Bundesliga giants appear set to bolster their midfield with the signing of the France international, who is one of manager Carlo Ancelotti’s favourites.

Chouameni is certainly a key cog in Real Madrid’s midfield, and his versatility, combined with his ability to operate efficiently in the midfield, makes him a vital player for Real Madrid, especially as they prepare for the absence of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Real Madrid takes firm action
Meanwhile, Real Madrid were quick to respond to Bayern Munich’s inquiry, which did not mention any figures involved in the deal.
The Spanish big club has firmly refused to consider any offers for Chouameni as they consider him one of the most important players in the club’s project.
Real Madrid also pointed out that Chouameni’s current contract runs until 2028, which is why president Florentino Pérez declared him “non-transferable”.
Either way, the fact that Bayern Munich did not mention a specific amount they would offer shows that they were not very confident about signing the Frenchman.
